On Friday, October 6, the friars, friends and family of the 2017 Jubilarians gathered together for the celebration of our brothers who celebrated major anniversaries this year. Our brother Eric Gauchat, OFM Cap., (celebrating 25 years of priesthood) was the main celebrant for the Mass and Tom Weinandy, OFM Cap., (50 years of profession) served as the homilist. Friars Bob Herrick, OFM Cap., and John Petrikovic, OFM Cap., led the music.
After Mass, a festive dinner took place at Scotus Hall in nearby Millvale, PA, and Provincial Tom Betz took some time after dinner to salute each of the friars and their contributions to the Order, to their ministries and to the Church.
